Is it just me, or did this topic disappear for about the last 4 days? The only topics I was able to view were the introduction topics and the D.C. Gathering topic.

What worries me is that when I'm out of town, my husband lives on hot dogs and microwave popcorn. We all know hot dogs are full of bad stuff, and now microwave popcorn isn't safe, either. I warned him about the steam, but now I can just picture him wandering around the house while I'm gone, nibbling on cat food.
And that's probably not safe for humans, either.

As long as they don't decide chocolate is carcinogenic.
Now now now, I heard a report about this on NPR. It is safe for those of us who nuke the popcorn at home. The problem is for the factory workers who are making the popcorn. They are exposed to such a large amount of the buttery stuff that it can be problematic.
I am waiting for hte report on the dreaded jelly bean factory disease....
